Happy Tuesday! If anybody else need help to start their day (my pot of coffee is already brewing), here are some interesting and entertaining little videos to get your brain juices flowing:
This is a satirical take on the meaning of the “all-natural” label you can find on so many products and whose lack of significance we discussed here. My favorite quote: “Huh! What? A barn? … Works every time.” I have to admit to having the same reaction to product image and design… did you ever take the green packaging (for toilet paper, for example) just under the assumption it would be more environmentally friendly, and then realized you were fooled? Drives me nuts.
Then, now already three episodes of the controversial Chipotle-created series “Farmed and Dangerous” are out on Hulu (links to episode 1, episode 2, episode 3)! Sadly, Hulu doesn’t work outside of the US, so I haven’t been able to see it for myself – what are your thoughts? Overdone or snarky genius? (P.S. On the subject of exploding cows… Happened in Germany recently. Sort of.)

And finally, watch this inspirational video of the largest rooftop garden in the world – 65,000 square feet, located in Brooklyn, NY – over the course of a season. Urban farming works, guys!
Have a great day!
I have to say … I just laughed so hard i nearly fell of my chair when I saw the first episode of farmed and dangerous. I think this might actually be the way on how to get through to people, who normally don´t care – make a obscenely sarcastic show on industrial food, featuring a sexy-organic farmer. Problem then still being, as you video one shows – how do you get people to actually think about what they eat and not just take anything that says “natural” on them.
These are hilarious! Comedy is one of the finest ways to make a point without seeming preachy, thanks for sharing
HAHA! That’s 200% natural!
The first video is paticularly good! How terrible labels can be that misleading!!
