How about something light-hearted to get over Hump Day? I’m currently marred in trying to memorize trade models and social accounting matrices, but found this cool link about a coffee table book about the art of food photography – which features really really cool illustration techniques (such as where they cut cooking utensils in half to let you see the process going on inside, called ‘the cut-away’). Check it out:
As a recent photography nerd I’m sooo into this. Also, it reminds me that food is not just about livelihood and policy struggles, but also beauty and art. And that is a good reminder on these last days of exam season for me.
Don’t you want to own that book?
